True OG

True OG stands as a benchmark within the OG family, recognized for its consistent structure, refined terpene profile, and enduring reputation among experienced consumers. Positioned in the exotic tier, this cultivar reflects careful selection and cultivation standards that emphasize resin production and visual integrity.

True OG is widely regarded as a phenotype of OG Kush, carrying forward its foundational lineage with a focus on stability and expression. The buds are typically medium to large in size, exhibiting a dense, compact structure with tight calyx formation. A thick coating of trichomes gives the surface a frosted appearance, while coloration ranges from deep forest green to lighter olive tones, often accented by burnt-orange pistils. Proper curing preserves both the structural density and terpene integrity, reinforcing its premium classification.

The aroma profile is distinctly cannabis terpene-forward, led by dominant notes of earth and pine, supported by subtle citrus and woody undertones. Commonly associated terpenes include myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene, contributing to its layered aromatic depth. On inhale, users often notice a smooth, grounded earthiness, while the exhale reveals a slightly sharp, pine-forward finish with faint herbal spice. The overall profile is balanced and persistent without being overwhelming.

Users typically report a gradual onset that settles into a relaxed and euphoric hybrid state. The experience is often described as steady and grounding, making it suitable for unwinding without immediate heaviness. As the effects progress, some users report a more sedated finish, particularly at higher intake levels. Duration is generally moderate to long-lasting, with a consistent and even progression rather than abrupt shifts.
